I bought her from the Estate of Carole Wahler who passed away in 2023. Her famous stoneware collection was auctioned off in February 2025 fetching 1. 34 million. This sampler was part of that collection. It had to live for a couple of weeks in the freezer because I wanted to be sure any infestation eating the wool threads was gone.
