Trading geometric precision for elemental spontaneity, Jessica Snows latest series is shaped directly by the Aegean Sea. Through a ritualistic process she calls en plein mer, Snow dips her canvases into the water at dawn, inviting the tide, sand, and Mediterranean light to dictate the organic flow of the acrylic paint. The resulting biomorphic abstractions replace rigid
