To use, simply flip open the latch, insert the chip, and flip down the latch to securely hold the chip in place against the gold plated contacts. It can be soldered onto existing PCBs where clearance allows for the socket body. Please note that 150mil wide chips will not fit this socket; it is primarily intended for flash chips.
