The razor was made in the early Showa period around 2nd WW and never used before

It was never used before and just had a few spots that needed restorative attention

Bluing is similar to the protective coat which the razor had after being quenched in the time it has been made

We also added a rattan handle wrapping with several layers of Urushi lacquer

crafted with the utmost care and precision

Restored by us to exceptional sharpness and shave ready condition. We removed the old handle wrapping, removed the rust and restored it to the original look and feel. The box was fallen apart as well, we also restored it to full functionality. Inside we found a paper sheet that we will keep together with the Kamisori. It contains some scribbled notes from the time. A very historic
