Coming in at a total length of just over 18 inches, this 1, 1. 5, or 2" wide timber framing chisel will get the job done. The chisel body measures 8 inches and the socket and handle adds another 10 inches. I like the socket design for timber framing chisels as I think they are better designed to take the abuse of heavy work.
