The oak influence is barely noticeable, remaining in the background. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and extraordinarily juicy, with abundant red fruit flavours. It is dense but not overpowering, with round, ripe tannins and fresh acidity. There is a hint of leather and a delightful liquorice note on the finish.
