On the note of budget, each wildcard costs the same and is earned the same way in their given rarities, thus, if you spend a wildcard on a super expensive common or mythic, you can play with cards that would cost a fortune IRL

I imagine cards with hexproof and indestructible counters are invaluable for this strategy
A giant vanilla creature without evasion isnt good, nor is the lifegain
This card was also the only new card in that drop, but it captures that chaotic nature of the character brilliantly, and makes for a fun potential commander, making it no surprise that it sold so well last year in the secondary market
