Horn of Greed (Ext, S) The engine in the now-famous TurboLand deck, Horn of Greed returns your one card investment in land into a one card return
Excludes retro frame cards 1 Basic land (20% chance for a traditional foil basic land) 1 Token or art card Note that a small number of English-language Innistrad Remastered Play Boosters contain a mismatched double-faced card
That's what happens when you combine Tinker (which could get out the Jar almost immediately) with Megrim (so that your opponent would take 14 damage from a single Jar discard, assuming they could not play any cards in time)
Anathemancer punishes them severely for this with a deadly early creature and the promise of a much bigger hit later down the lineone that can't profitably be countered and can't be stopped with discard, which will force many control decks to consider alternate means of dealing with the problem such as an Identity Crisis
And, Resourceful Defense returns from the Streets of New Capenna Commander Decks, as does Damning Verdict, both of which are vital to any strategy involving counters (as the Bant deck in that set was also themed around)
