If youre playing a lot of cards that cost five or more mana, then having a high number of lands (36-40) would be a good idea
If there were better armor cards, sure, then Shock Absorbers might fall into disuse, but until then, this is the second best armor we have
These are both fine cards, they will likely win you some games but they are not optimal inclusions in most situations (Dragonlord can be if you are heavy red and need mana sinks for some reason)
