While Pocket doesnt currently include similar counter-Paralysis cards, the core mechanics of the Special Condition remain the same in both games: a Paralyzed Pokemon cannot attack or retreat for one turn
They don't copy whether that creature is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, and so on
This is already great, but if your opponent doesnt cast anything that needs countering next turn, or the turn after, suddenly its like youre profiting on mana for this foretell investment since thats multiple turns where youve only had to hold open two mana rather than three
You get the mana immediately and dont have to wait to meet a condition
Thankfully, after so much waiting, Wizards didnt disappoint, as the flavor is fantastic, and there are plenty of incredible Commanders
