This can really help you snowball into a powerful board state while also dealing out commander damage

But second: Its much less effective in a mirror match

It is too expensive to be using as a main part of some synergy and may even get edged out of discard decks because you have sufficient outlets in your Faithless Looting, looter Jace, Looter il-Kor and Dack Fayden etc to not need it at all
