Wizards of the Coast wasnt done using Ice Age for a mold of sets to come, it would eventually have a supplemental set, Alliances, which would also later be copied for Mirage and Visions, Tempest and Stronghold and many other set blocks in the future
Crucially, this effect doesnt have a duration, once resolved, it remains a creature until the game ends, or it leaves the battlefield
While the deck technically has a 9-drop card, it's a split card so you wouldnt cast it for that much
MH2 is a very enjoyable Draft experience with compelling archetypes, lots of options in Draft, strong balance between aggro and control, and interesting gameplay with lots of room for skilled players to win games
Maybe the least exciting of the soulbond creatures, Thundering Mightmare is still decently spicy
