In order to use the additional boost of the attack, the opposing Pokemon must be affected by a special condition, which can sometimes be a challenge
What makes this whole thing really absurd though, is that you when you cast an Equipment spell like that, it gains When this Equipment enters the battlefield, attach it to target creature you control. That means that all you have to do is cast an Equipment from the top of your deck, and suddenly youve bolstered your attack and defence substantially
That said, I'm not sure why Nanaki gets left out here
I think the default will be fetch a basic Plains and make a 2/2 when the battleifeld isn't pushing in any directions, and that's pretty good for three mana
The reverse holo version is the genuinely tough one to land in clean condition, since the galaxy foil scratches easily and the print is decades old
