Jeskai commanders that have special effects related to instant and sorcery spells can also benefit from aftermath cards
The stock list is filled with all these cute little synergies which add depth and complexity to the list -- cast two spells per turn, legendary creatures matter, tokens matter -- but Y'shtola is very clear on what she wants to be doing, and that's chaining together high mv noncreature spells, and this deck simply refuses to do that
Outside of that, Frogmyr Enforcer probably doesnt make the grade, though its a colorless 7-drop if you really wanted a terrible one to make up the numbers in your Eldrazi deck

Considering that this card may stay relevant for the next two MTG sets, this spike makes a lot more sense
