The starter ring gear kit consists of a 106 tooth starter ring gear, a starter clutch and pinion gear. The ring gear is made of Aircraft quality 8620 steel which is carburized (surface) hardened, oil quenched and comes with a black oxide finish. The starter gear features 20% longer rollers than stock, increasing strength and durability of this part.
